Singing
I trained as an operatic soprano, first in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, then under Dorothy Robertson in Edinburgh and now with Madeleine L Sjostrand. I’ve performed in operas, concerts and recitals across the UK and abroad and I have several UK/ Scottish/ European premieres under my belt.
I also love jazz and show tunes; in 2023’s Fringe singing with Christoph Hilger (Babylon Berlin) in the acclaimed ‘Poesie Geht Ohne Schuh’, exquisite German poetry to music composed by him.
I’m currently working on Ariadne auf Naxos (Richard Strauss). Clips of recent work are below – I’m accompanied by Jean Keltie, and these were recorded by Jack Davis.
