Shards of Normality

‘Shards of Normality’ is a site specific work devised and performed by the International Laboratory Ensemble at the Freies Werkstatt Theater, Cologne. It’s based on research done by the director, Yuri Birte Anderson, among Ukrainian and European artists, about the ‘normalisation’ of war.

‘Shards’ incorporates current video footage from Ukraine – scenes of city and country life as it is now, and fields of combat.

It’s an immensely moving piece and it’s a privilege to be a part of it.
